Our recent Narromine Housing Development

Through the NSW Government’s Community Housing Innovation Fund (CHIF), Orana Support Service partnered with the NSW Government to deliver 14 new homes in Narromine, supported by a $2.9 million government investment.

The project, completed in November 2025, transformed a long-vacant site in the heart of Narromine. Ageing sheds that had stood unused for more than 20 years were demolished to make way for much-needed community housing.

The new development provides safe and secure homes for around 20 residents. Orana Support Service owns and manages the property, ensuring quality housing and ongoing support for tenants while contributing to the long-term wellbeing of the local community.

Callistemon Unit Project to Project

Through the NSW Government’s Community Housing Assistance Agreement – Capital Funding Social Housing Accelerator Fund (SHAF) 2023–2025, Orana Support Service partnered with the NSW Government to deliver 12 new homes in Dubbo, supported by a $4.6 million government investment.

Completed in December 2024, the development has provided much-needed safe, secure, and affordable community housing for residents in Dubbo. The project contributes to addressing local housing demand while supporting individuals and families to access stable, quality housing within their community.

Core and Cluster Coonamble

The NSW Government is investing more than $6.4 million in a new Core and Cluster refuge in Coonamble to be delivered by Orana Support Service, helping to provide safer accommodation and support for victim-survivors of domestic and family violence.



The refuge will feature six self-contained units designed to be inclusive of women and children with disability, along with a children’s play area, pet-friendly communal spaces, meeting rooms, and technology to enable remote court participation.

A key feature of the Core and Cluster model is the delivery of on-site support services, including counselling, legal assistance and group programs, through a mix of private and communal spaces.
