How is OSS governed?

Orana Support Services (OSS) provide Homelessness Services.

We will work with you to make sure you receive the best possible assistance to avoid becoming homeless or, if you are homeless, to access safe, affordable and secure housing. OSS was established in 1988, previously know as Dubbo Drug and Alcohol Committee INC.

The OSS Board has overall responsibility for the financial performance and the achievement of its founding purpose. The rules, responsibilities and authorities of the Board in setting the direction, management and control of OSS. In overseeing the determination and implementation of policies and procedures that reflect good corporate governance aligned with the ACNC, Governance Standards and taking account of AS 8000-2003, Good Governance Principles.

Our contractual commitments and stakeholder expectations together with our Values inform and guide the organisation to insure it is consistent with the Constitution of Orana Support Services.

Orana Support Services is a registered charity regulated by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), and applies the ACNC Governance Standards.
